I cant comment but there must be some here :)

A week without e-mail is more traumatic than moving house or getting divorced, say techies.

I wouldn't go that far... A week without e-mail would be a blessing! Although a week without access is a different story.

Well, whenever a powercut hits for a few hours, I first get angry, then panicky, then melancholy, then indifferent.. then I pull out a book and enjoy the time off...
