"Over all, it's a very cumbersome process," said Jakob Nielsen, an authority on Web design who helps run a consulting group, Nielsen Norman Group, in Fremont, Calif. "It's probably designed deliberately to cut down on their e-mail."

When Jakob Nielsen (Dr. Nielsen to you!) is criticizing the new system in rather harsh terms, then the re-design company better do something, quick.

They did a segment on CNN yesterday on this, complete with showing you what happens if you happen to go to whitehouse.com by mistake, and all the personal information the government wants when you send the president "email".
