going to NYC

need tips on ...

I will be traveling to NYC to watch the AC Milan vs Juventus game.
the first week of August.

In addition to watching the game, my soccer buddies and I will be seeking a club
of some sort to consume alot of alcohol. I was wondering if anyone here can give
me any suggestions on where to go in NYC. I've been to the club Life in Soho awhile back
and is was pretty good; is it still happening?

Any info would be appreciated. Also, does anyone here own a night club that could hook me up?

Actually, it looks like you have just ruled out NYC....it is probably the most expensive city in the country.

The club 'the bitter end' in greenwich village has some cool hiphop nights - but I haven't been for a long time.

There is a good mix of bars and clubs in that district.

If you get really stuck flag down a Limo - they are cheap as a taxi if there are a enough of you, and if the driver is experienced he/she'll know where to take you.

Also you can hang out of the sun roof and get a great view, if you were so inclined ;)

If you're looking for typicial NYC club scene, try Centrofly - definitely one of my favs. The covers arent bad (about $15), usually have really good DJs.
