Whoof, scared me there! I thought this was going to be one of those "change your password, please" threads. I only just done that, and I can't remember the new one reliably yet...

TallTroll: I use dvorak on my machine, but the login box is in qwerty, and so is the change password box, if it forces me to change on login.

And why did I put 6th floor? I'm on the 12th. Senior management is on the 6th, because that's as high as the fire ladders go.

It's fun to use Dvorak for passwords. See, the password box is in Qwerty. Take your favorite password, and type it in Qwerty as though the keyboard layout were Dvorak.
You end up with total gibberish, that you can remember in a snap!
It's brilliant. I love doing passwords that way. My boyfriend is a heavy Dvorak user, and does his passwords like that-- to the point that he automatically changes the keyboard to qwerty whenever he puts in a password.

As for fire drills... on a beautiful day like today, they'd have a hard time getting me back in. I'd grab my stuffed woolly mammoth, my backpack with my sneakers and lunch in it, and disappear...

Helps that I'm in a 2-storey building.

We dont have a fire exit! apart from the window there is no way out if the stairs are blocked.
