mack takes massive gulp.
Found a bolt that needs to come of. but I dont have the tool for the job. It gets worse. It's a bit hard to describe and I don't have a clue what it's called, so finding this illusive beastie is proving to be a minor nightmare.
here's the description. It fits onto a ratchet, as a socket would, but has a driver attatched to it. The driver has 12 points. If it had 6 points I belive it would be called a "torque bit". But as for a name for this ....

It is called the XZN standard. It is German. Some people call these "triple square". Mr. Robertson from Toronto invented the single square, was half duped by Torx, duped by Peugeot, and double duped by Hazet (the German company making them). Just remember the original idea was from Canada. ;)

It's a bolt located inside the gearbox. Messy place indeed to put a bolt lol

Actually, I think you mean Vauxhall (UK variant of Opel). All Vauxhalls are just rebadged Opels, and Opel is the German variant of GM. Can't decide who's the winner here!
