HI all.

I no longer have my beloved cable modem, so i have to do with a dial up connection for a while.

I was useing one service that i liked, but they dumped me because i never hung up.

So, shoping around, i tried another service. Turned out to be a waste of money. I could not connected at anything higher than 2400 bps!

So, my question is, anyone know of any good ISP's? or better yet, and ISP where i can try the connection speed before i buy?

It would help to know where you are. I can recommend a couple, but suspect the international toll charges might cripple you.

Thanks in advance!

In europe, many use dial up connections, where you don't have to pay a monthly fee; instead you pay for each minute you surf. Is there something similar in the U.S?
