News and discussion for the advanced web professional

Forgive me for being slow here

But Brett's home page strapline has just hit home with me:
News and discussion for the advanced web professional

That gives me two sets of thoughts:

First, by slowing mutating the "mission statement" we could between us set up a set of other sites for audiences who are currently in orbit around WebmasterWorld:

  • News and discussion for the advanced web talented amateur
  • Chit chat for the not-so-hot web wage-earner
  • Bragging rights for the dim Google-obsessed tyro
  • Misleading advice for retarded adult spammer
    and so on.

Second, why isn't there a basic pre-posting competency test: So you think you're an advanced web professional? Now prove it! We could have a set of questions like those for Googleguy....Any suggestions for testing advanced web professionals?

(I must have spent too long in the shower this morning: brain gone all wrinkly :):))

Yeah I usually don't. But I liked victor's post and the one word that was misspelled was obvious and distracting.

Feel free to misspell to your heart's content. The chances that I will edit for spelling mistakes are remote. :)

Victor, those are great ideas.:) Maybe if Brett implemented them, we could pull some of the traffic away from Forum 3 ;)

    spiel chucker

Software that chucks out marketing spiel? I want it! Where can I get it? How much is it? Does it come with a set of free steak knives?

I think, deejay, what you are looking for is a spiel chunker. These have the advantage that their output is directly readable by a spiel chugger.

Don't make the mistake of settling for a spiel chukka or a spiel chakra which only work for specialist markets.

For best all round results of course, you can't go wrong with a top-of-the-range spiel chutzpah.

    :) :) :)
