Online Book shops in Australia

Is Amazon there or anyone else?

I need to buy some gifts for people in (SYDNEY) Australia and knowing there are some people here from there was wondering if you can recommend any good book shops.

Ideally I would like to use Amazon - do they have an Aussie version? if not which is the most reliable?

Also are there any services which specialise in flowers and who do you recommend?

I have priced Amazon for books in Australia but the freight always makes the prices quite high, it may be cheaper if you were ordering in bulk. Dymocks can order in books from overseas and their prices are slightly below what Amazon can do.

As for flowers, I'd do a search for 'flowers' and their suburb or town name on Google Australia. Easiest to contact the store direct and have them debit your credit card over the phone (I think you get better value than using Interflora).
