I read a recent post here about spending too much time online - my problem is...

I have worked in IT for "ages" and I only really got into web stuff around 1998. Everything was fine until this year when I started reading about "search engine optimization" and then my world began to fall apart. 23 hours a day in front of the computer, reading everything I could get my hands on, boring my wife silly with keyword density, keyword prominence and the KEI of certain phrases. She is very tolerant and just smiles sweetly and says - what the hell are you gibbering about?

Having coded in perl - so I am used to the 23 hours a day thing - but is it normal to get so TOTALLY involved with how web site gets listed on a SERP. ;-)

PHEW!

perfectly normal, SinclairUser

look at most of us, with the amount of time we spend just on WebmasterWorld you would think we have no time for own research/coding/designing. Sometimes i find it hard to remember what sleep is. ;)

only 23 hrs?.......slacker
