A quickie, and an intro to my colleague and brother who will be turning up to the Boston Conference later this month.

Versatile in Linux servers/ networking nuts and bolts, ms various versions from the 1989, you name it he's probably had something to do with it, or knows something about it.

Welcome to the board Artnos. Pleased to have you join us :)

Maybe you can help us answering some of all the mysterious questions caine has a habbit of asking?
Anyway, feel free to hide out with us in the European Forum [webmasterworld.com] if the US folks don't treat you well ;)

Looking forward having a pint or two with you guys in Boston.

Welcome Artnos!

If your anything like Caine, I'm sure I'll see you at the hotel pub many times during the conference weekend. (just remember to talk slow to the Yanks, that scottish accent can get a little difficult to keep up with after a few drinks :) )

Hello Artnos - I've only managed to get my wife to post 2 times ( i think...) in the last 2 & 1/2 years. :) Hopefully, your brother has a bit better luck convincing you to participate - lol.

Ok Artnos, dish it up. We've had him in the dungeon and if I remember right he’s had his shots so I guess now you’ve got fill in the gaps on your bro. Welcome, if you are anything like your brother you will fit right in and we’ll all have that much more to learn.

Hello Folks,

Just want to thank everyone who has welcomed me. I am not
very good at doing introductions!

I have not been using linux's for a while now - so need to get back in to it and sharpen up. That is proof in the pudding that the evil empire has managed to produce a decent/robust OS in NT.

What i like about linux/unixes - it is an advanced version of MS DOS.

Look forward to meeting some of you guys in boston.

Anyway, got to cook some food!

Linux and Unix?

would the translation be something like
"screwed up my keyboard by spilling beer on it, not bad, no keyboard" ;)

Yep,

lost the E and space and a few others, it was the first beer of the evening that did it, tried to shake the keyboard dry - though the beer was very persausive. Will bring the keyboard to work and clean it up when i can be bothered, till then will nick a cheapo keyboard out of work.
