Using a non-work and non-home computer, and decided to check out Webmaster World.

I got "404 not found"... :(

How embarrassing when I realized I had typed www.werbmsaterwrold.com :o

I need to type slower ;)

I once made a GREAT proposal (by email) to a woman in charge of a large real estate rental agency's media campaigns. Somewhere in the text, I used the phrase "your public presentation." I ran it through spell-check, everything checked out. Emailed it. She replied, referencing the above phrase and then told me...

"You left out the L in public."

The same thing happened at the design firm I worked for. We were working on an annual report for a Fortune 500 company, and these ARs go through dozens of proofing readings, and we get the first printed copy in the door and it doesn't take 5 minutes for someone to notice that a member of the Board of Directors (no less) was a Certified Public Accountant, but without the "L" in public. And with the SEC deadlines there was no time to reprint.
