I found this paper in my old files... if am not wrong, this is something that was written when I was in 6th grade. :)

Suppose a = b.

=> a square = ab

=> a square - b square = ab - b square

=> (a-b) (a+b) = b(a-b)

=> a+b = b

=> b+b = b (considering the fact that a=b )

=> 2b = b

=> 2 = 1

=> a+b = b

You can't go from one to the next if a=b because a-b=0, therefore you are dividing the equation by zero.

It does prove that infinity=infinity, though ;)
