Not the designers fault

I feel like a total idiot

I am forever complaining to my designers that the quality of images etc is not crisp, and they are always saying its the best they can do considering I complain about max file sizes for banners etc etc.

Anyway, I thought I would try on my spectacles which have been sitting in my draw for the last 3 years untouched.

Guess what?

Its me who is losing eyesight, even with 3 years of dust (blown away in 2 seconds and smearmarks), everything looks so much clearer now.

Considering they were issued 3 years ago, and I wore them for a day will teach me to not make false accusations in the future.

Better go take another eye test again.

He, he, I know how you feel Shakil, I started using mine recently and you're right, everything looks so much more in focus.
And I thought it was the beer ;)

I normally wear contact lenses and when I'm doing computer work I need a light prescription "reading" glasses on top of them. This gives me an exquisite field of vision.

But sometimes I'm not wearing the contacts but just my full prescription glasses. I have to remember that fact if I'm making value judgements, because what I see is not as accurate!

I once complained to a projectionist in a movie theatre that he wasn't keeping the film in focus (this is often a justified complaint). Several weeks later I had an eye exam....

hmmm ... our experience is the one that do the "seeing" part as we look to some things and images.

and that it why maybe you have keep on complaining since you always knew before that the designer always gives you some uncrisp image.

until you have your eyes check. :)
