Message Too Old, No Replies

My digital landfill is full of junk mail, there's room for no more.

At about 80 junk mails a day, enough is enough. I use every filter tool possible but the senders are just plain smart and they get through, often.

It a matter of 'I just can't stand dealing with this trash anymore'. Filtering these guys by subject, word content, domain etc. is not good enough.

I'm ready to put the lid on the can...

Does anyone have a tool or add-on for the popular email programs, especially Outlook, which will allow NO INCOMING MAIL unless the sender is on your 'accept e-mail from' list?

Thanks,
Uptomyelbows

Jon,

try [mailwasher.net...] and start prefiltering your email. Once you get into it you will cut spam considerably. We have had several Mailwasher discussion here, try the search function and you should find them.

Actually, MailWasher saves Bill a whole lot of time each day that he then uses to contemplate the sound of One Cricket Chirping.

I dont use mailwasher (thinking of giving it a go) but I do create folders for people I do wish to recieve mails from and route them accordingly. Then all my spam goes into the inbox which can be scanned quickly for proper mail and deleted even quicker.

The thing with Mailwasher is you can scan at the mail server and delete spam/viruses etc before they even get to your email client.

This Mailwasher program is great (so far). It is a godsend. Thank you so very much for the tip.
