German court rules Web site did not breach drug advertising law

That article sent a shiver through my spine.

"It can be difficult for the general public to distinguish between genuine enthusiasm for a medicine and a calculated campaign of advertising for some commercial gain."

I knew a confused person who opted for alternative cancer treatments for a curable cancer, because the medicines the doctor was prescribing were "harmful."

This person died before the year was out. I saw the same thing repeat itself many times during the course of work at a cancer center. Very sad.
