No, I'm not gonna tell you what those plans are about. Other than that they deal with raising the general quality of my actions in several fields. And who would be opposed to such a project? ;)
Some plans are fairly easy. They will just take time and work. Others may be difficult but definitely within my abilities. And then there are some that may prove to be beyond those abilities. It is obvious for me that to succeed with the most difficult of my plans I will have to gather strength from what sources I have.
WebmasterWorld might be one of those sources. There are members here who have been so kind as to show me a positive attitude. It might help me to have their good thougts with me.
So... wish me luck.....
And while you're in the habit send your kind thoughts to others that might need them.

Many good wishes and best of luck to you in all your endeavors. Anyone who has obstacles to conquer and challenges ahead needs strength and fortitude. The encouragement of friends, co-workers, etc. is always a big help! Sometimes, it doesn't matter how well you know the person. Just the idea that someone is there with you in spirit is enough to get you through the rough spots. ;)
Good luck!
And it was. I don't think that I could have hoped for any better fate for it. It was answered almost as soon as possible and by someone who understood the general situation and was able to express her understanding. Thanks.
For the sake of my vanity I might have hoped for a long thread with lots of people expressing flattering opinions of my personal integrity. ;) But I do not doubt that what actually happened was better. Syren_Song has said what needed to be said. Thanks again.
Press on: nothing in the world can take the place of perseverance. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

Best of Luck.
That's been a favorite of mine for 16 years but I've always seen it as
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistance" not "perseverance."
A quick search shows both forms cited at "reputable" sources. So now, short of asking the President, I'm off to do some research :)

For a number of reasons I expect to keep a very low profile at WebmasterWorld from now on. There is a post or two that I have promised myself to write, but apart from that I expect mostly to be a lurker.
Keep up the good work.

Did you actually know that I would love that story? Like Mr. Armstrong I have a kind of humour that may relate to the most unlikely experiences and show in the most unlikely situations, perhaps not while walking on the moon, but... erhh..
(no, I don't think I'll finish that sentence.)
I don't think I have ever been on the moon. But....:
"Now and then he returned to the quartet and its third movement, its strange atmosphere, its character of lunar landscape"
Translated by me from the Danish translation of Thomas Mann's "Doktor Faustus". This sentence deals with the central movement in Beethoven's string quartet no. 15, opus 132, a piece of music with a central position in my life... And on one of my websites... I'm listening to it right now.
> Just try to discover new lands for all of us!
As the Preacher told us there is nothing new under the sun. But I do try to diminish my personal area of ignorance. And of course I would like to help people who are in a similar process.
Heini, I didn't know that you had Danish words in your vocabulary! :)
> Don't be a stranger
I couldn't possibly.
