Ridiculous lack of snow

I'm sitting in Gloucestershire, squinting because of the sun in my eyes, and there is not a trace of snow anywhere to be seen, yet it seems that the entire country is covered in the stuff.

How can this be? I want a day off work!

Yo are lucky mate! Took me two and a half hours to get to work yesterday (10 miles in Surrey) and 50 minutes today :(

At least I wasn't stuck on the M11 overnight.

Loads of it in essex, sledging and fun already started seems many of the schools have closed, one because the school bus crashed on un gritted roads in epping forest on the way to school this morning.

Sadly I work from home so work still goes on (at a reduced rate)

Want snow?...feel free to collect some from Teesside as we seem to have enough for everyone.

Three hours to drive the three miles home last night must be a record for me - I could've crawled home from the pub quicker than that...

i think its funny...we get it every year and as soon as we get 4cm of snow the country grinds to a halt and its mayhem everywhere!

Good old UK, we love our weather! :)

Ill second dazz on that one, heres some amusing headlines for everyone else everywhere else to laugh at.

"Snow sweeps across UK"
"Snow Storms Cause Commuter Chaos in UK"
"Scots hit as snow closes airports"
"UK hit by 'Arctic blast'" <= id hardly call it a blast
"BIG FREEZE GRIPS N-EAST"

And many many more... the list goes on

LOL!

Not a flake in Leeds - Clear Sunny weather all day - but a wind that could strip a chorus of Nuns in ten seconds. Brrrrr
