But unfortunately with that one big night of highs, you have to deal with the lows of the day after.
How does everyone deal with work the day after? What can we do to help us get through a day of work with a hangover?
I remember having a discussion with someone about heavy Vs light beer. He couldn't believe how pissed he felt on light beer until I pointed out that it's not really light if you drink 30 of them.

how pissed he felt on light beer
Light beer is often lighter on calories (or color), but about the same on alcohol... I could brew a beer you could hardly taste, that looked a lot like water, that would knock you on your butt. I just can't see why anyone would want to drink light/lite beer in the first place.</added>
Have one beer to level off those chemical and drink lots of pure water. Don't drink OJ, because it have fructose in it already.
Best precaution to not to have a hangover is to drink water along with alcohol while in the pub.
If you get into a habit of drinking loads anyway you are always prepared for a bender. Then drink loads post session after you have had a diet coke (or full power if you are a real animal).
You then need some fat that your body always craves. Give in and have a big fat bag of crisps or a burger.
Remember the quote from Frank Sinatra (i think)
"I feel sorry for the man who does not drink. As when he gets up in the morning that is the best he is going to feel for the rest of the day".
At least your situation is going to improve. Lets thank Frank for that bit of wisdom :)
First of all eat something and drink some water. Then you take 3-4 advil, 2 energy pills such as Yellow Jackets or C-4 and some sort of multi-vitamin like Centrum Performance.
To avoid a hangouver:
Before you pass out take 3-4 Advil and a multi-vitamin and drink a large glass of water.
Works everytime
caffiene tends to help me. on bad days all that helps is sleep and liquids
also i drank nothing but beer last night, which is pretty forgiving
This means:
Drink a little of what you had the night before that got you drunk.
(Don't drink the same vast quantities... only a drink or two) and you'll be as good as new.
This really works! I've done it. :)
P.S. I'm not kidding... this isn't a joke or anything... it really does work. ;)
Hair of the dog - I've only ever used it when I'm still in trouble in the evening.
