There was a recent thread where someone was wondering if there was any significance to the colors in the Google Logo. I wonder if the Lego blocks are just a coincidence.
those colors appear around the backrub project too so its possible
the color choices were made before it was renamed to Google
the colors are also nice non-dithering colors which would be a smart choice
for the many 640x480x16 color monitors still in use back then... I would bet they
greyscale nicely as well! :)
