What do tooth fairies do with all those teeth

My son lost his third tooth tonight and he being 7 and close to that "this doesn't make sense age", we had a long discussion about what tooth faries (he informed me there was more than one) do with teeth.

He says that they build houses out of the teeth for themselves and all their fairy friends.

Whatdo you guys think those silly tooth faries do with the teeth they pay for (going rate is $1 in our house)?

Oh, there's definitely more than one tooth fairy! They use the teeth to make jewelry - necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc. At least, that's what my Mommy told me....

Poor Terrence the Tooth Fairy looked at the mountain of teeth that still needed to be ground into fairy dust and sighed...

No matter how fast he ground the teeth into fairy dust the pile of teeth never got smaller. Instead, miserable old Garreth, the taskmaster would just snarl and tell poor Terrence how slow he was. And then, before walking away, as always, Garreth would mutter under his breath,

"Yep, poor old Terrence, dull-witted and slow to boot, nothing like his brother Timothy, ah, if only Timothy had never wandered off into the world of the big people".

<added> I haven't written any more, but the question begged at least the beginning of a story ;)</added>

You mean the tooth fairy isn't a giant chicken-like monster that uses human teeth in its crop to grind its grain instead of grit and sand like a normal chicken?

My and my mom gotta have a talk...

Since in french the tooth fairy is called 'la petite souris', I guess it has to be a mouse. And mice exist, so the tooth fairy IS real!

And I always thought they ate the teeth...
