Snow in London

absolutely freezing

Oh well, looks like it has arrived, Snow in London.

Not too common of a site, and looking from the office window, seems like all hell breaks loose when a bit of unexpected weather starts.

also 1st day back at school for the children (and teachers).

The city is covered in snow and the temperature has been minus 6 - 10 celcius for about 2 weeks now. But of course we are used to it here in Norway. ;)

Nope, i took my swedish snowball and rolled it down the hill, they Fled for their lifes [middlebury.edu], and one got Hit [aoc.nrao.edu] :)

It was quite beautiful to see the untouched snow at 7.00 AM - turning to brown sludge by 7.05 AM..

I wanted to make a snowball but could not be bothered to get cold hands, and no one around to lob it at..

It's been snowing in Copenhagen [netkontor.dk] as well. Right now -5 cel. Down to around -20 last night.
Tor, we're used to it though, but not as much as you guys up in Norway *brrrr!* :)

We had nearly 2 feet of snow on Christmas here in Albany, NY. We also had another 15 inches on January 3rd, and it's snowed lightly every day since.

In fact, we've had over 60 inches of snow so far this year. That's more than our annual average!

I'm actually surprised--it's sunny here in Seattle. We've had rain for forever, then yesterday and today it's been sunny!

Hey, you're just a stones throw away from me here in Vermont. We didn't get hit as bad as you (I'd gladly take that snow up here) but we've got about 24" on the ground right now. I opened up the cold-frames last weekend to let them get some moisture. In 2 months I will sow spinach and arugula. :)

I've got family down in Polruan (nr Fowey), but haven't spoken to them yet to find out what it was like there).

No snow here, although there was some the other day apparently - the day I decided to have a lie-in and miss it all.
