I bought a Dilbert cartoon one-a-day calendar to help me get through 2003 in a some what sane fashion. (Forgot it at home this morning though.)

What will help you get through 2003?

There is an Edward Gorey daily calendar that I am looking at getting. Great, dark, weird drawings, stories, and humor. It will make me realize my life really isn't that bad.

I had a far side day calander last year and it was great. The person who gave it to me said this way I'd be gaurenteed at least one laugh every day. The problem is that I kept forgetting to turn over the pages so kept forgetting which day it was. So this year we've bought a Wallace and Grommet monthly calander to hang on the wall.

But my favourite desk ornament has always been my three cats. There is usually at least one draped over the computer somewhere being cute and keeping me company.

I have an LED Zen clock. It says: NOW. Seems appropriate in almost every situation. :)

Mine is a pewter replica Stanley cup emblazoned with the logo of my beloved Maple Leafs.

Had one of these [vermonty.com] last year ... tried to order one again this year and they had credit card issues on the site. I'm all for the cause, but can't be troubled to order if a site has usability issues.

How funny... I know a woman who's parter is one of the models in that calendar. hehehe. Met her on an email list. Small internet, no?

As for my desk, my set of Dilbert finger puppets has kept me in good company for a couple of years now. :)
