Mercedes C32 AMG

I'm Getting Closer

Guy has a 2002 C32 AMG with 8600 miles. He ordered a new SL and wants to get rid of the C32. The only options NOT included are rear sunshade and trunk pass through. He's asking a negotiable $46,995. Sold new for about $57,000. Any lucid thoughts out there? I know rcjordan is a car aficionado.

No zeros missing - 8600 miles is correct. Kelly Blue Book doesn't have this 2002 model listed yet but Edmunds says depreciation for first year should be just over $10K. No sales tax on a private sale.

lawman, awesome machine the C32, test drove it some months back, but opted for the Audi equivelant instead.

can not make a comment about price as they are very expensive over here, but its a TOOL.

I would go for it. All mercs are quality , AMG just ads that touch of class

I'm going to Atlanta this Thursday to check out the ride. Have financing lined up. If we can get together on the price, I'll probably drive it home. Will keep you posted.

Too cool. I can't quite imagine what it'll do for your "lawman" image but then I don't know what you look like either. You could be a Tom Cruise double for all I know - hey wait a minute, doesn't Tom own a C32?

LOL... I don't remember the last time I bought a pair of new shoes... hehehe. However, my shoes do tend to be less used than my cars.

Drove to Atlanta this a.m. to drive the MB C32. Had a letter from my bank guaranteeing my check. The car has great handling, great breaking, and it's so fast it's scary. But it is a compact and when I first strapped it on, it just didn't reach out and grab me. For 48 payments at $1000 a pop, the car had to reach out and grab me. I kept my money in my pocket and drove back home. Oh well, I'll try something bigger next time and hope it reaches out and grabs me.

Have 2001 S430 Mercedes with 8600 miles. Very fast and looks awesome. It's a little pricey at 65K but it's a fantastic car.

You might never find out, either. There are some photos back here in Foo from a few months ago that lawman took. But when he looked at the developed photos it wasn't him in the photos at all, it was some guy who needed to go on a diet who was wearing his clothes.

There better not ever be a BarConference in Atlanta, lawman will send his clothing and tell us it's mivox wearing them.
