My friend left the country and he doesn't tell us where he is. He has a roaming telephone number. Is there any tool that I can use to trace which country he is now?

Any help is appreciated.

I did a quick google search and came up with this [fonefinder.net]. It seems to work with my number.

Thanks.. but that doesn't tell which country the person is now. I think the tool just check the area code and give you answer based on that. What I need is to find which country the person has gone. He is using a local cell number and brought it with him overseas, but he doesn't tell us which country he is now.

Information as to the country that the phone is located in would have to exist in the cell network when the phone is turned on. But they wouldn't publish it or give it out without at least a request from police.
