500 Server Errors

Why so many of these recently?

I'm using Firefox 1.5 and it seems fine. Dialup connection in UK is intermittently slow but no worse than usual. No spyware etc on PC. Why am I encountering so many of these server errors at the moment? Mostly they can be solved with a simple page refresh but it is certainly causing us to scratch our heads and cuss at the moment. Any ideas?

Are you talking about your own sites or sites you visit?

I got a spate of 500 errors on my server and had disable suEXEC which was being rather picky.

I'm talking about other people's sites, not my own. Don't know if it would help to keep a record of these things for a while, but I just suspect everything is grinding to a halt. (Will probably start to get server errors on the TV next.)
