Turning 25 today....

Somehow it doesn't seem like I should be able to have memories over two decades old, or that I'm closer to middle-age than childhood.

Am I morbid, or do other guys my age have similarly-depressing thoughts? ;)

One piece of advice - keep a good catalogued photographic collection of the people, places and events in your life right now.
At 50 I can see far more interesting detail in photographs than i could when i was 20;)

I've found that the pool of women I deem attractive enlarges as I age. Don't know why it matters since my wife told me I can't have any of 'em.

Happy Birthday!

Turning 25 was a big deal for me, at the time. What did my future hold.. would I ever get married, have a house, 2 cars, kids and pets.. how much moolah would I accumulate..

Looking back it from another 25+, I can see that it wasn't such a big deal. I never got married, had one child, no house, no car and no cash. I had no idea I would be so happy with so little.

for me 25 didn't seem as significant as 30.

When I turned 32, I said something to my mom about it being my last power-of-2 birthday until 64... and she said "son, you are a bona fide nerd".

when I was 25, I was cool. What happened?

I am 28 and having the time of my life at the moment. I have friends in their 30s and they think that they are having the best time at the moment.
