I first viewed those videos a couple of weeks ago. His skills are out of this world.

FYI, the crossbar one is fake. You'll see the net move on the first one, but not on the other 3. Plus, there are interviews where he sheepishly smiles when asked if it's real. ;)

I thought soccer fans were tough skinned ..you know the hooligans and rough bunch ...kind of embarresing that a golfer shows them up and then a moderator has to protect them

Um, they have to overcome a defence first. And good attacking players usually play for strong teams that play against other strong teams. With strong defences.

Most footballers and a lot of fans play golf does not mean we can compete in the PGA, even though most would like to.

And who said football fans are hooligans. The large majority are not.

If you felt the three matches last night were boring that is fine. No need to watch. But as a sportsman, then skill has to be respected, whatever sport it is. When the US does get big in the World Cup and in football (and it will) then the US as a whole will start to support it. The US does not like games where it is not a top performer, they want winners.

But as a fellow golfer and football fan I find the skill that the top teams show can be amazing at times. Do you like Rugby?
