I used to make Keith Richards jokes (he's not really alive! he's a corpse! he's a puppet!) until I saw the Stones in Vegas last November.

I was really, really blown away by how good they were, and especially how energetic Keith Richards was. He would fall to his knees to play a riff and then jump back up and run around - it was incredible.

I hope the bump on the noggin he recently got doesn't do permanent damage. It would be a shame.

If you can't make fun of Keith Richards, what is this world coming to? :)

BTW, I saw the Stones live too - in Atlanta in the 90's. They were old then too, but, of course, they knew how to put on a show.

Ah, the stones. Incredible to think they're still standing after all this time. Somewhere between 3,500 and 5,000 years old, apparently, and now a World Heritage Site!

Oh, I see; those Stones... Still, about the same age aren't they?

I saw them in the seventies and again almost 30 years later. Nothing changed.

Imagine if he had died...... oh the irony of Keith being killed falling out of a coconut tree.

Yeah, that's ironic alright, pmac. Richards is Richards is all you can say. Maybe he was remembering Jim or something.

The daily newspaper in my city ran the story with "Keef's brain is OK" which has been cut out an kept by people all over the place.

Sling it all in the face of medical theory!

According to American Doctors they should all have died many years ago........plainly, not the case.

They might not look alive in still photos, but, they surely are on stage!

Most of them are a living testimonial to how much abuse the Human body can take. Of course in any test you have to have volunteers who will go the excessive mile!
