So, I am the owner of the website and the company.
I'm the webmaster as well as a programmer and designer.
I write the content so I am the writer, but also, do some edition work.
So, who am I!?
I have no signature in my email, but I'd like to have one.

Ann,
I understand that's a joke. However, I don't understand what that joke is! :(

Perhaps you are a manager or a director, specialising in managing and directing yourself?

I use "Editor". One correspondent wrote back to me once and asked if they could speak to the "technical person". I said: "That's me. I edit the website not just the copy on the website."

CEO

You don't have to let anyone know that for you, it stands for, 'chief everything officer'.

Heh Heh, That was an old song where the guy and his family, through different marriage partners, wound up being his own Grandpa.

You can too use the Microsoft wording and sign something like:

Sincerely
The Yoursite's Team

Maybe next quarter you hire an employee or your wife wants to help or anything else (or two quarters beyond you're alone again) and you still can sign like The Yoursite's Team.

Lexur:
You made it!
I remember now I signed some emails with

WebSite's Staff

Now, definitely, "Team" sounds cooler.

Thanks!

These are some great suggestions for making a one-man operation sound big.

Sometimes it can actually help to be frank about being a small business. When I started my bricks and mortar business I was a one-man show for over a year. My phone message said, "I'm everything from President to Janitor." Customers really enjoyed that- I know because they frequently told me. Perhaps this works best when you have a bit of an established reputation and clientele in your niche.

I sign them where I want the potential liability to fall.

So you're the man upstairs, he whos name shall not be mentioned and capo di tutti capi.
However, I prefer to sign my mails with "president".
