I'm with trillianjedi - I've always heard it said to be an infinite number of monkeys. A million trained typists wouldn't recreate Shakespeare's complete works. :-)

BTW -- I've also heard this statement limited to Hamlet, but if we're talking infinity that wouldn't really matter. ;-)
