He's as silent as a mouse during meetings and says nothing - if any decision goes bad it wasnt he's idea. In conversations he supports both side of any argument with out coming down in either field.
Social events, he's the one buying the managers drinks and generally sucking up.
If theres a moral/controversal issue he wont chip in with ideas.
Today we had a situ with a mentally ill and known to be violent customer threatening a female receptionist with a hammer - again he was last down and hung back, offering no real presence or support in a tricky situ. But gave his version of events that were greatly enhanced.
But he'll be the first at the front of line when something goes well, offering to show those that are interested what has happened, while never taking the credit he implys that its his doing.
Can anyone suggest a label for this type of person?
Lacking in moral fibre was one suggestion.
