Is it holiday next week on the United States?

In Mexico next week is called "holy week", and all elementery schools are in vacations during the next two weeks. College and universities takes one week off.
Most companies give thursday throu sunday off to their employees.
Is there something like this in America as well?

It's a religious celebration for Christians, but businesses, governments, and schools don't shut their doors, except maybe for Good Friday.

I even work at a Christian college and we only get Good Friday off.

Many schools are off this week. I don't know what the ratio is between schools off this week and those off next week.
