I don't know if anyone else in the UK saw it but summer was yesterday! I had the day off work. I bet loads of you missed it.

Oh well, on to Autumn now.

Soon be winter.

Wow - that's a good summer for the UK then. Wasn't it half a day last year?

No sign of summer here, but we had spring last Sunday, it was great! But tonight we're expecting 5-10cm of snow, so winter's not over yet. :(

Hmm, and I had summer down as being on the first day after Wimbledon ends - somewhere between midday and teatime...

I live in the upper Piedmont in Virginia USA, just south of the Roanoke Valley. It was 75F yesterday, the trees are blooming, the grass is growing, the birds are singing :) The daffodils have been blooming for over three weeks. Spring and summer take their time here, and Autumn foliage kicks into high gear during the middle of November. This is my happy place, where I enjoy four seasons, where a little snow falls during a short winter and you can nap in a warm hammock out of doors nine months of the year.
