When I got up to the first tee, my heart was pounding out of my chest..... I was so nervous. Just before I was about to tee off, a bird flew overhead and "dropped a nuke" all over my shoulder. The marshall told me it was good luck.
The condiditions that day were horrific with the wind blowing so hard that it was not unusual for the ball to move all on its own while on the green. On the 106 yard 7th [pebblebeach.com], which plays directly towards the ocean, I hit a full 6 iron and still came up short.
By the 10th hole, the rain came. Combined with the wind it pretty much made the course unplayable so we called it a day. although disappointed with the weather, it was by far the most fun I have ever had on a golf course. Nothing can prepare you for playing a hole like the 8th [pebblebeach.com], it was incredible.
