I dont know but Isuspect its a sign of getting older, you know I really hate it when when genric terms like website are then reffered to as web properties.
That sort of thing gets up my nose.
So come on how many other terms can you think of?

I have to admit I do sometimes describe myself as a "web real-estate developer" or "web property developer" when trying to describe what I do. I.e. acquiring vast tracts of virginal webspace, constructing websites thereupon, and renting out some of the space. I wouldn't use the term outside of an analogy though.

A web site probably becomes a "web property" after reaching a plateau of popularity, such as "Yahoo" or something similar.
