eCPM is a way of guaging how various pages on your site compare with each other for earnings. You may have a page with 200 impressions, and a page with 2500 impressions. Using eCPM you can see how each page would perform assuming each page had 1000 impressions - hence comparisons are easy to make.
i meant lets say i got 500 impressions and 5 clicks and my eCPM is $4.56. how much would my eCPM be if i had 551 impressions and 7 clicks thats what i meant
if eCPM=(known CPC)*(if clicks)/(if impressions)*1000
where (known CPC)=(known eCPM)*(known impression)/1000/(known clicks)
or
if eCPM=(known eCPM)*(known imp/if imp)*(if clicks/known clicks)
Use your numbers, you will have
if eCPM = $4.56*(500/551)*(7/5)=$5.79
Is this what you're asking for?
