I launched my first website last January with Adsense in it. My traffic is steadily going up little by little and so is my adsense earnings. I just read about the Adsense PIN that Google will mail to our address when we reach $50 in earnings. I made it to $50 last July but haven't received it up to now. According to Adsense support, publishers can request for it in the Payment History page by clicking the "Please enter your PIN link" and then "Request a new PIN". But when I view my Payment History page, there's no link. Now I'm worried since I'm already expecting payment from my Adsense account. Any feedback from senior adsense publishers will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Anyway, this is the link to the page where I read about the PIN:

[google.com...]

It's no.4 of "5 Steps to getting paid".

The new Adsensers are probably in a better position to share experiences on the PIN because the 'senior' Adsensers didn't have to get one when they started. In fact, I'm relatively new to Adsense too but it wasn't a requirement yet when I joined last year.

I thought the 'trigger' value was $100?

I believe the trigger for sending out the PIN is $50, but you don't actually get paid until you reach $100.

vbignacio, what country are you in? If you're not in the US, perhaps this may be causing an additional delay?

Thanks for all your replies.

Moneyraker, so this PIN is a new feature of Adsense then? Did you still receive your payout even without the PIN?

3stars, I'm from the Philippines.

What bothers me is there's no "Please enter your PIN" and "Request a new PIN" link in my Payment History page.

vbignacio -

PINs are mailed via standard U.S. mail, so depending on where you live it could take 2-4 weeks after your PIN is mailed before it arrives.

Check out the following link for instructions on checking when your PIN was mailed, and requesting a new PIN if it has not yet arrived:

AdSenseAdvisor, thank you for your input. My problem is I can't request for a PIN because there is no "Request for a PIN" link in my Payment History page.

I think if you were not asked you don't need it. Well, I started last year and was never given a pin but check arrives every month.

I'm glad seeing more pinoys here :-)

What a relief then, thegreatpretender. I hope it's the same case with me. Thanks!

That might be the case (i.e., you may not need a PIN depending on when you signed up). Otherwise, it could be that 2 weeks have not yet passed since your first PIN was mailed.

You cannot request a new PIN until at least 2 weeks after your first PIN was mailed. The 'Request new PIN' link should become live after that time.

The best thing to do is to check whether a PIN was mailed to you at all. To do so, click the 'Please enter your PIN' link on the 'Payments' tab of your account. This page will tell you when and if a PIN was mailed to you.

AdSenseAdvisor, since the trigger amount is $50, it couldn't be that I haven't received the PIN yet since I already accumulated that amount last July. And there's no 'Please enter your PIN' link in my Payment History page. So I guess when I signed up the PIN was not a requirement yet.

Thanks for all your help!

I think you have all missed the most important point here...you won't see any PIN details on your account page unless you signed up to receive payments via EFT, if you elected to be paid by cheque then it won't appear as it is only used for bank transfers.

miguelito, the PIN is used to verify publisher addresses as stated in:

Vbignacio,

I was concerned about the same thing, asked adsense-support, and recieved the following:

"According to our records, however, your account
was approved before we began issuing PINs on January 28th, 2005.
Therefore, we will not send you a PIN for this account and you won't be
required to enter one in order to receive your future payments."
