Hey Guys! I need your help and advice!
I was accepted to YPN a few minutes ago and I still have my doubts? What should I do? What would you recommend me? Use the AS on my sites or YPN?

The best thing to do is to test each program and see which performs best on your site. The keyword prices vary, so you'll have to test it. On some of my sites I have Adsense running and on others YPN--one program does better on one site but doesn't do well on other sites. You have to find the right mix.

Gordele,

Congratulations with YPN accepting you.
I wish they would accept me but I am not from the USA.
So I guess I will have to wait for another while...

As a SEO, AdWords is since 2004 the price list.

AdWords costs so much money.

My work to create new optimized pages costs so much money.

In many first talks with new clients in internet promotion, we discussed AdWords statistics, AdWords expenses and how I would be cheaper than AdWords.

I never heared one word about Yahoo/Overture.

So AdSense can target better, because there are simple much more different ads to match against a web page.

So I can not imagine, how YPN should perform better on my sites with so many different themes.

The answer is obvious. Use both - some pages adsense will be better and some ypn will be better.

Speaking as an advertiser that uses only Adwords. The conversion rates are tremendous. Actually they are more than tremendous they are outstanding. Now that I am using the conversion tool I see an almost 6% conversion rate from the Google Adwords traffic I receive. 6%. Even if that could be beat I would not switch. It definitely exceeds my expectations. The results prove to me that the traffic is high quality and highly targeted.

Try mixing on the same site. Just be sure not to put AS and YPN ads on the same page, but it's perfectly fine to use a different service on individual pages within the same site.

When I've done that, I've found that it makes good sense to switch if your page meets certain criteria. After lots of testing, I've found that it makes the biggest positive impact to try YPN on those pages that perform poorly with AS ads on them. By "poorly" I mean low CTR and low EPC. On every page that fits that profile on all of my sites, switching to YPN increased that page's income. I leave the other pages with AS alone... no sense messing with what ain't broke.

I'm pretty sure that it will depend on your area. There are some places in Y that have much higher bids than G and vice versa. Also many areas you will have completly differnt ads on Y and G for the same term. There are a lot of people that just do one or the other and some that do both.
