AdSense is like a wonderful lover, who gives you great time

BUT who is incapable to give you a commitment. He wont walk into the church

Thinking of the ups and downs during the adventures with Adsense, the journey has been quite full of fun, enjoyment, enlightenment, leanings.

It all started with a little flirting, adding the code, tweaking the relationship every now and the, trying to understand each other. There came those high passion moments with great eCPM and CTR and those low phases like holidays and Katrina time.

With checks arriving 'on time', it felt as if we were going smooth with each other. The feeling of a commitment began to rise. Expectations grew and dreams felt good. But then, I guess I was missing something.

AdSense had, right from day one, said clearly - no commitments. till your site is bright and good for me, I would keep on having great dates with you, but then, I am not the kinds who exchanges the ring...

Lovely nights watching stats move up and down and the passion of overall earning rising made me forget the value of commitment, and i left myself flowing in the arms of AdSense, and let the good time remain good.

I am getting older now, my site, in spite of having fresh content everyday, gets less attention from the dream lover. I complain, I vent out my frustrations and yet remain with AdSense. I use best quality of make up for my site, using the heat map as a lifelines on passion. I love creative writing. Yet, AdSense leave me on cold more often now.

There have been moments when my site was made to feel like a hooker in the middle of the street. Left abandoned.

Watching AdSense move out from my life more and more everyday, I thought of actually finding a match for a long term commitment based relationship. I checked out on Amazon, and a handful of others. Dating with linkworth and Amazon gave me a little more support and compensated for AdSense losses, but they lack passion of AdSense.
They are giving less passion, less beautiful evenings, absolutely zero intelligent talks, and only make me smile just once a day, and then miss out a few nights too.

You know it is like feeling a wrecked lover..... Thinking, is marriage still more relevant that simply having an open relationship? Guess so….

Some of you know how it feels...

Marriage is outdated. Nowadays, it's about living together first. I'm learning to live with and deal with G's ups and downs.

*sigh* Oh, Google, come a little closer, my sites don't bite!

I'm learning to live with and deal with G's ups and downs.

That's what I'm doing.

I'm just following those old common sense advices: diversify, advertise, add an email list to your site... and forget Google; easy come, easy go.

Amusing analogy, Sobriquet, but very true indeed. :)

Take the advice of many: go out and date others aside from G! Wine and dine with the best of 'em like there's no tomorrow!

As I posted elsewhere I do not depend 100% on search engines but I will leave it to you find out.

No I am not a Google employee but they ought to pay me for helping them out :)

LOL, I figure all the help we give each other builds better content sites which pleases the advertisers which cause them to spend even more and we earn more.

P.S. I am a retired 69 year old who simply loves what she's doing.

It had been a night of frustrations that led me to create this post. Thanks to all of you for comments. I am begining to learn that absolute trust in a relationship doesnt really work. So, as i mentioned, i am flirting with amazon, chitika, linkworth and they do give me some highs. I ditched ebay as it was already useless ( read - no pennies at the time of dining with me )...lol

My adventures with amazon and linkworth have been worth a mention. As it has helped me compensate for the losses at google, and has reletively more assurance of payments next month. I have been dating them for last 3 months and now i have a link inventory equating my loss due to adsense in recent past.

Google, no matter how arrogant, still the most attrative and wonderful lover. Life is now learning to flirt and live...

MSN, YPN, come over ;) to my street! ( me not in america ) :) a sweetheart is waiting for u here.

Hey guys - Just discovered one more thing.

ranting and cribbing, does get you somewhere i guess ;) .

I had been ranting about adsense love flirting and distance in my affair with adsense here, and voila, just like a sauve lover, adsense gave me a boost today - :) a 3 times epc ( traffic same, earnings trippled for the day.

Got a great ePC and one of the click got a record high of $3+. :), So my highest click till date is $3.something.

Hugs AdSense, Love u Adsense. :x
