Sorry to bother you, but my adsense account has been recently been disabled because it is "related to an account previously disabled for invalid click activity." I have recently purchased (late August early September) all of the sites that were in his network of sites from a member in my family and placed my Google ads on them. After totaling up 1 months worth of earnings, with around a .3% click-thru rate and absolutely no fraudulant click activity, I log in to see that my account is disabled.

The only thing I can think of is that he has his ads on this site that's now mine when his account was disabled and now I have my ads on the site since I purchased it.

I would post my username on here, but would rather not because it's my email addy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The email they sent was pretty self-explanatory. If they didn't have this policy, then whenever someone was banned he could simply sign up with a new account in the name of his wife, his kids, his dog, whatever.

This sort of thing is probably only possible if you can satisfy Google that selling the site is an arms-length transaction. And if they saw the original owner continuing to monitor the account, they would probably reverse their decision and ban your account again.

Well, that's pretty sorry on googles part.

Guess I'll just wait til I get accepted in YPN then since the Domain is banned from google.

I would write to Google, offer fax them a NOTARIZED BILL OF SALE, assuming you have one (not hard to get if you don't) to prove it's really been legally moved to a new owner 100%.

They have been known to reverse themselves if you plead your case.

I'll say it again.

Google does not ban people out of hand. There is almost 100% certainty that, in their eyes, a transgression has taken place or they don't like something about the site.

The original poster purchased these sites from a family member. Let's face it, it's probably the same person still running the sites. It's probably someone living under the same roof. And if I were a betting man (which I am), I'd wager that the word "twins" in the name the poster chose is significant (eh, or maybe not).

I highly doubt Google will reverse this decision.

ww newbie, going straight to the adsense forum and whining because of being banned.
all i can say is: stay clean! if you can't, then get another job. ok, google forces you anyway..
but you will get problems in your whole life if you don't respect the rules.

But how to check before buying some internet domain whether it is/was banned by AdSense or not? This what you people said suggests that it is totally dangerous to buy internet domains. You scared me!
