Steady increase in traffic/revenues

Is this a seasonal trend or due to other factors?

At the end of August we saw a step increase in revenues - not surprising as the school holidays came to an end.

But in the six weeks since then we've seen a steady increase in traffic and revenues, despite CPCs being flat/static in the lower part of our normal range.

Is this increase throughout September/October a normal seasonal trend? Or could it be due to Google cleaning up the SERPs so that original content sites are getting more traffic.

Does the lack of response mean that we are the only ones experiencing an increase in revenues at the moment?

Not really.

It's probably due to the fact that there are so many "my earnings are up...anybody else?" and "my earnings are down...anybody else?" threads that it's a bit much to keep up with them all.

I'm sure if you scroll down a few threads or a page or two, you'll find a thread about increased earnings that you could contribute to if you were so inclined.

At any given moment, there are people who have decreased earnings and there are people who have increased earnigns. There's always some for both "clubs".

We've had reports of increased revenues in several recent threads.

As for whether seasonal factors are involved, that depends on the topic.

My guess is that there has also been a steady increase in the traffic to your site. This is because, as your site grows, google trusts it more and sends more traffic your way.

I see a huge amount of extra seasonal traffic, every year. It starts in late September and runs through mid-December. But, my sites are related to something that most people only do around the holidays. So, it's self-explanatory.
