Déjà Vu!

Have they fallen out with Citibank London?

Nope...payable at Citibank, Canary Wharf, London...huh?

Optirex,

If you are still getting paid by cheque, I want to ask "why?".

EFT is much quicker (payment usually credited to the bank account two or three days before the end of the month) and the dollar/sterling exchange rate used seems to be very favourable.

And it has been known for our postal service to go on strike (just wait till Gordon Brown becomes PM :-)). I've not yet failed to receive a client payment because the bank transfer system has gone on strike!

Hi OptiRex,

My first ever "me too" post in 13 years of using the Net!

OK Im not optirex but my reasons are that I can bank it in one of several different business accounts...

And it usually arrives the same day as the EFT or sooner, around the 27th, often before it says "payment". This is only the second time late in 2 years.

And it feels better to look at a cheque for all your hard work!

For the moment absolutely the same reasons as Nitrous.

I'll say no more since we have had this discussion before in this forum:-)

Hi,

Ooooo, another "me too"! I like to see the cheque, and G seems to stagger the payments so that EFT and cheques get money to people at the same(ish) time...
