Buying a domain with adsense

what all to consider and whom to ask at google

I am offered to buy a site it already has adsense on that domain and but most of the things are not compatible to adsnse tos. i will ofcourse change the things before i put my ad blocks on that but i would like ur advice on a few things.

its a dating site, with zero members , he is not selling the database ) and i will use this domain and program to add to my romance articles existing website.

1) if this publisher was ever banned or had a conflict with google, can the ads still run on his site?

2) any other things i need to check up?

3) What all need to I ask google about the domain?

The site goes against TOS in some ways.

1) Displays an uncovered woman picture showing off on home page. ( lol - this must get changed )
2) Has some clicks which open in popup with adsense ads.

These both are changeble easily so I would.

please advice.

The fact that ads are running on the site tells me that Google must not have found out that it's breaking the TOS.

I would ask the person to immediately stop running ads on the site, as a courtesy to you, if you are going to buy it.

Just my 2 cents...

zero members.... maybe he just creates sites and then sells them. you are starting from scratch. Which is what you would do if you just did it your self.

I would still check the domain and the owners name out with Google first before risking getting myself banned as being associated with---.

Hi Sobriquet,

Just my 2 cents but I would think twice before buying anything from a person who so obviously breaks agreements (in this case Google TOS).
Who knows what else is under the carpet?
