is adsense on every forum page bad idea?

Will that lower my click price if I did that since the pages will refresh often yet members might not click?

Which following outcome method favors Google Adsense?

just for example,

1000 page refresh + 20 clicks =?

Or

100 page refresh + 20 clicks =?

Will the 2 scenarios above effect overall pricing at all?

Thanks

disable ads for members.. they aren't likely to click.

But what would happen if i don't disable ads for members?

Would that effect anything as far as the click $ goes?

Why would you want an ad that isn't clicked on your site? Replace it with a CPM ad, like through fastclick.

it might get clicked it might not, nothing is certain.

Im just asking: would it effect $$$ click price if forum has adsense on it?

There is no evidence that "members don't click". I don't know who started this hogwash but there is no truth to it. That's like saying that someone who gets the newspaper every day doesn't respond to any of the ads in it. Your forum is just another medium for delivering ads, no different than radio, tv, newspaper, magazine, etc.

Members will click on ads that motivate them, period.

Forums can do well if your site is targeted for many CPM ad campaigns.

Someone please answer my question.

I’m just asking: would it effect $$$ click price if forum has adsense on it?

Whether members click or not, do you think its wise to have adsense on webpages only or adsense webpages + forum?

I hear the price of clicks go down if you place adsense on forum since there is more page views but probably fewer clicks.

Is there any truth in this?

It is an interesting discussion.
In that other thread linked to above, the publisher did state that income went up when the impressions for non-clickers went down.
I've always wondered myself why we would want to NOT show ads to anyone- but if it means more income for the clicks that do come through....hmmmm.

How does G manage this, anyway?
Not knowing much about AdWords, I'm at a loss in understanding how all of this makes sense- what with Smart Pricing, impressions vs. CTR, converting clicks...jeeeez it just gets more mysterious every day! ; )

Do what Google does and treat each page seperately. I know it's time consuming but make a judgement on each page or section of pages. Watch income and conversions as you go.
