I have a news feed on my site that is blended in very good. When my site is crawled or spidered, do they read news as latest news or as java script?

That depends, if your news is inserted into the page server side they'll see and read the news as it's an integral part of the delivered page. If it's fed into the browser by javascript most likely it will be ignored.

There are a couple of good PHP-based rss to html converters that allow you to have the feed contents server-side. Try searching for "RSS2HTML" and "Carp RSS".

You should watch out for RSS feeds containing "Adsense for feeds" - might result in 2 Adsense ID's on one page.

How can you "see" these - and strip them out?
