This is my first made for adsense site.

I have been making about 3-5$ a day on sites that I added adsense to, but this is my first made-for-adsense site. the url is... nahh...can't do that!

* I bought the domain name on 9/2/05.

* site was live on 9/7/05

* all 15 initial pages are fully indexed in google on 14th or so. MSN and yahoo got most of the pages.

* 19th I got about 34 cents or so.

* the 20th I have got about 1.13 (so far)

The site is designed to be useful for a visitor. add placement is strong. meta tags, h tags page titles and content are on a key-phrase per page basis. design is simple.

I am hoping that this site does at least $10 a day within the next 3-6 months.

My plan is 1 content page per weekday, and 5 to 10 links added to the directory section with at least one of them returning and IBL per day.

Will post back here once a week or so with updates.

Are you allowed to build sites for adsense now. When did that happen?

IBL = InBound Link

>build sites for adsense now
>made-for-adsense

Hmmm, poor choice of words perhaps. Maybe "a new site with space made available for adsense, or other advertising, in the original design" would be better. :)

Great idea for a thread!

To complete the picture, can you also supply us with traffic details?
Also, if you like, where most of your traffic is coming from (e.g. search engines, reciprocal links).

My big question is how did you get indexed so fast? I have a site that I set up in July and Google still does not have it.

I guess the OP has other sites to link from. I can normally get a new site into G within 2-3 days however MSN and especially Yahoo I find a bit hit and miss.

@ lotuslady

In G try and search for site:www.yourdomain.com if its listed then it should show your pages, if it doesnt show up for any keywords your targetting then its sandboxed, relax get links in the meantime, thats all you can do, I have 2 sites in the box since March 05, they get traffic from msn and yahoo but not G yet

I posted in another forums here about being indexed so fast. I simply don't know. I have a 3 month old site that is not fully indexed yet also.

made-for-adsense shouldn't be a bad thing, there are just a lot of people doing it in a bad way.

The truth is, most all of us make the sie for adsense. If they didn't pay, I bet every one of use would build it differently, or not at all.

Everything I do is clean and legit. I am bulding a site that will have a value to users searching for these phrases / words, and making sure that the layout, content, and positioning (and a lot more than that) is suitable for adsense and search engines.

BTW: maybe I should change my name to iworkmorehoursnowthanwheniwasatwork

We launched a new site 3 months ago and can't get it over $5/day yet, I'm wondering if it's a non-starter compared to my others.

Thanks to my main web site my name should be immoBILL -

LOL- you make me sick Bill.

I've got a great idea that nobody has done yet in my large niche, but just need to figure out the technology to make it happen.
When I do-
