Hello Friends

I have one page on which I have an online Game. My Average page impression per day in last 2 months is around 10 and Average clicks is around 3. This channel shows me daily average earnings of .30 cents. Most of the hits I get on this are through direct search results.

But yesterday there had been around 10 page impressions and 21 clicks. That makes a CTR of 220%.
Previously also I had this channel for 150%, 125% and 100%. The amount is hardly considerable anyways.I am even thinking of changing the Tower to Single 1 ad banner so that I dont have to worry about this things.

My question is

1. Should I report to Google about it?

2. I havent emailed google anytime before, can any one please suggest if there is any email address where we send this kind of reporting or I fill up the contact form.

I am having good time at adsense and bit worried after seing "HiCairo's Post" if what he is saying is completely true [webmasterworld.com...]

Thanks

You can just use the contact form on the AdSense site. I don't think it hurts to contact them--but since you have such low traffic in that channel it could be one click-happy visitor. And I don't think that kind of thing sets off the alarm bells.

hunderdown, thanks a lot for the reply. Ye you seem to be right. One such user might have clicked all the ads. I was bit hesitant to shoot a mail to google for such thing, but I cannot afford to get bursted from adsense. The best thing I liked about adsense is that no matter where you are your earnings go on without much effort. But this doesnt looks to be true. I check my stats more often to make sure that there are no unexpected clicks rather then to see the earnings.

Desi,

I have a few pages too with only very few impressions a day. Only somehow the ads match the content of that page so well that sometimes 1 visitor clicks on more than 1 ad. The result is that that page on some days has a CTR of 200%. I never consulted Google about that and it didn't cause any trouble so far.
Wish I could get more visitors to that page...

As everyone has already said, this is not necessarily reason to be concerned. However, it never hurts to email AdSense if you see something that strikes you as odd in your reports, and particularly if this behavior occurs repeatedly. The email address is adsense-support@google.com.

Cheers,

ASA

AdSenseAdvisor, Thanks for your suggestions. Actually I filled up the online contact form to inform google about that already. But today again that particular channel shows around 37 clicks and 11 impression and the ctr around 345% with my earning of $0.35. I think that as this page has a game users might stay longer and might click on the adverts.

But just to make sure that I am safe I removed the wide scrapper and kept a button. I hope this doesnt atleast make my CTR more then 100%.

As suggested by you and others I wont contact adsense again for this, but if this trend continues, I might remove the adverts totally from that pages.

Thanks to all.

Google is smart enough to detect click fraud.

35 cents from 37 clicks? They may have already deducted bad clicks and I think it is automatic.
