Starting forums

Well when i get enough money imma buy a domain / hosting and it will be forums about anything and everything. Well are forums good for adsense clicks? And also i was wondering if i have adsense on one site and planning on putting it on a new one am i aloud to do that? 2 site with 1 adsense account.

Yes you can have your 1 adsense account on multiple domains. I haven't heard of anyone getting rich off adsense on forums but if you have traffic you will earn a decent amount. How do you plan to get traffic with all the forums already out there?

I think generic forums lead to generic ads, which lead to low CTR and eCPM. If you build a forum where people come for discussion, conventional wisdom is that the repeat visitors will become blind to the ads.

There was a discussion a few months back in which a poster spoke of significant success with forums on specialized financial issues, and I am aware of other focused topics that get decent returns. But I think it helps that those forums tend to become points of reference for subsequent visitors - sort of like how webmasterworld threads come up in Google when you search on certain specialized subjects - and I think that helps the CTR.

There are many free forum hosting places around, you don't need any money to start. If you want to be more professional, you can get a domain for under $9 and hosting can be free, just search for it.

I don't wanna give out the domain i'm buying but it is gonna have every topic of discussion from sports to news, video games to humorous media and after i got that set up i was planing on buying my way onto search engines.

How about i have a main page that has news articles and ads on the main page and just news articles and forums

It may be much easier to concentrate on a specific topic but good luck whatever you plan to do. I am very curious though, it seems like you don't have that much money but you plan on buying your way into search engines?

Well i'm involved in a NFL football pool at my dads work which offers 120 a week and my current adsense account.

I'll wait however long it takes, the longer the better.
