I am displaying adlink units on some of my pages and each time a certain phrase comes up which conflicts with some businesses. Is it possible to 'Ban' certain phrases in displaying?

Interestingly enough the Phrase is also an AdWords advertiser. They may not be bidding on that phrase but it is their company name?

While publishers are not currently able to filter link unit topics, individual link unit ads can be blocked using your Competitive Ad Filter list.

For more information, see:

Thanks for the tip! I have currently placed the advertiser into the filter in hopes that maybe this will suspend the 'Text' from displaying!

Will let you all know if it works?

You might also want to filter the individual ads that appear under the link unit topic.

You can click on the link unit topic without generating invalid clicks to your account. Just don't click on the actual ads that appear after you click on the link unit topic.

To filter these URLs without clicking on the ads, follow the right-click instructions on the following AdSense support page:

Well after a short day of adding the advertiser into the filter list the text has not shown up again so the plan may work?
