2 clicks for 0.01? Are you kidding me?

One of my channels currently has 2 page impressions, 2 clicks, and earned 0.01! 1 cent! Hopefully there is a stats lag, but has anyone else ever seen more than one click for only one cent?

Yes, this happens now. In the new pricing system AdWords introduced a few weeks ago it is now possible for advertisers to bid as low as $0.01, if the quality of their keywords and ads is high enough. There is not any longer a minimum bid price of $0.05.

So 2x0.01 is still $0.01.
Yes, one thing is Google's reputation which I fully support, but again, their over-algo obsession with often low, primitive logic is speechless.
But hey, it still works.

Smagdy - there are some that pay 3$ CPM/requested advertising/other affiliated companies. also check those at the pubcon, just a hint.

A penny on just 2 page impressions would still be $5 CPM -- so don't be entirely discouraged.

It could have been a PSA in there. It could have been two one-penny AdWords bid (which could have been rounded off to a penny after Google's cut). That's why you shouldn't put too much weight on one particular slow channel.

Then again, if that is a particular site that continues to perform poorly -- while the rest of your pages are doing well with AdSense -- you can always experiment with something else there.

Check out YPN I am liking it so far.

Targeting is not as specific as google but it catches the general theme of your site.
